Logement agréable et très bien situé dans un petit village calme, à environ 35 min de Chania. Petite plage et super resto accessible à pied. La localisation nous a permis de visiter des sites magnifiques notamment sur les conseils de Léo.

Asunto vastasi täysin kuvausta ja valokuvia. Kohde on siisti. Rannalle muutaman minuutin kävelymatka, ja se on erittäin hyvä uimiseen. Hiekka on hienoa ja aurinkopetejä saatavilla. Majoittuminen sujui erittäin hyvin ja olimme hyvin tyytyväisiä majoitukseen.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Michalis und Irina waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank für Alles, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Vi hadde et fint opphold og bostedet var veldig bra for våre behov. Litt vanskelig å finne frem for drosjen, men hadde Google map til hjelp. Veldig godt mottatt og servicen var av høy kvalitet fra utleiers side. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake hit og til vakre Almeryda😊👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great stay at Michalis and Leonidas's stay. We were welcomed with a huge fruit basket and a bottle of wine. Because our flight landed quite late we asked them about any restaurants that were still open close to the house - once we arrived they had already made a reservation for us at a really nice place. Throughout our stay they were always quick to reply and always extremely helpful. The house is very nice and looks like the pictures, the view is amazing. It is located very close to the beach (10 min walk) and has all the necessary amenities. We also really enjoyed the pool! We can really recommend this place.

Sehr schön gelegene Ferienwohnung mit Terrasse, Zugang zum Pool, Grillmöglichkeit, ruhig, auch für Familie mit Kind(ern), sauber, fussläufig eine Taverne und ein kleiner, gut sortierter Supermarkt.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Kokkino Chorio ! La maison de Leonidas est très agréable, nous nous y sommes sentis bien tout de suite. Superbe vue, environnement paisible, petit village à proximité. Un petit coin de paradis. Merci pour votre accueil, et votre réactivité et votre souplesse.

A beautiful villa with an incredible view, the photos don’t do it justice. Around 8pm the sun sets perfectly over the back of the villa. The facilities were great and the villa is so well equipped. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning Airbnb, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived until my departure, everything was absolutely exceptional - from the beautiful home to the delicious food made by Ada and Georgia and of course, Michalis exceptional service. First and foremost, the home itself was an absolute dream. It was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and provided all the amenities one could ask for. The attention to detail was evident in every corner of the house, making it feel warm, and inviting. I usually don’t write reviews. I’m extremely picky about the places that I stay, but this was worth writing a review for.

The host was fantastic, friendly and quick to respond and give tips on activities. We are very satisfied with the accommodation. Many thanks!

Our stay in the Eureka villa was incredible! We really did not want to leave! The home was in immaculate condition and very clean. It is beautifully decorated and with the most incredible unobstructed breathtaking views of the sea from every room. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. There was also a mid-week complimentary house cleaning provided during our stay which was a very convenient feature. The home is within walking distance to some restaurants and small supermarkets. However it is a big island and you generally need a car to do anything. Michalis was a very attentive, reliable and responsive host. He was very easy to communicate with and helped make our stay very smooth. He also sent us lots of recommendations for things to do in the area. We would come back to Eureka again. It felt like just like home!

Booked this place for 2 families of 4 . Plenty of space for everyone and will easily sleep 11 . Hosts were friendly and accommodating to requests and always responsive The villa is amazing. Squeaky clean, amazing views and first class equipment , high speed wifi . I had some initial reservations based on one bad review but having stayed here I can guarantee that that review is completely false. The hosts were not at all intrusive , incredibly friendly and flexible. Would strongly recommend this villa for a truly special vacation.

We had a lovely stay in Kokkino Chorio. We really enjoyed using the pool and having our coffee on the balcony in the mornings. Michalis was very helpful and responsive and let us have a late checkout. He greeted us with a bottle of wine and fruit on arrival which was a lovely touch. The Airbnb is about a 45 minute drive from the airport and we'd definitely recommend hiring a car as it's located in a peaceful, quiet village.

It's absolutely as described. The hosts were so welcoming, communicating through text before and during as well as meeting us on arrival and saying goodbye. The bowl of fresh fruit and cold water was very much appreciated. It's a quiet complex (only one other family there when we were there), pool is very clean and it takes a 5 minute walk to the stunning beach, warm, bath like sea and gorgeous local restaurants. It's a steep hill or a rugged steps to the sea front. You don't need a car if you're fairly fit to get to the restaurants in town (around ten but all very, very good) Apartment was very clean and owners also arranged for a cleaner to come in half way through our weeks trip to clean everything, change linen and towels. We'd definitely return to both the apartment & resort as its quiet but enough to do for a week. Top tip - Do not feed the cats that often apparently on downstairs balcony or they will return daily (kittens are very cute though!!!) Thank you - we loved it.

Beautiful home, with breathtaking views. Michalis and Leo were great hosts. Plaka is a hidden gem, you can walk to restaurants and experience authentic Greek cuisine but are still close enough to Chania and some of the best beaches in Crete.

We had a great stay at villa. Leonidas meet us at arrival, we could check in earlier, and checkout later. Parking place is comfortable. Hosts left everything we need in kitchen: 6 bottles of water, basket of fruits, bottle of wine, coffee/tea/sugar/oil were available in fully equipped kitchen, as well as coffee machine, microwave and toast grill, stove and oven. Apartment has two floors, furnished in old Cretan style with a lot of beautiful small decorations made with love by hand. But the best is view from apartment - it’s incredible, worse coming back. Pool is great plus, it is shared by 4 apartment, but most of the time it was only for us. Territory of villa was always clean, it is noticeable how much work and love invested in place. Sandy beach situated 10min drive from apartments, as well as supermarkets and restaurants. Thank you Irina and Leonidas

The house is absolutely beautiful, modern, spotless with exceptional views with extremely comfortable beds. A/C worked perfectly even during the heatwave. The pool and the pool deck with the views were the highlights of our stay. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool and the video games. Michalis met us upon arrival and was very helpful explaining the house. He answered all our questions during our stay. Michalis and his wife are wonderful hosts. The kitchen was well equipped. Plaka itself did not have much to offer so we went either to Almyrida or to Chania. A car is essential to get around. We were sad to leave.

The villa was the last stop on a small tour of Crete and it was the perfect ending. The villa was well-equipped in a beautiful location. I got up every morning for a swim while the pool still had a little shade, and then watched the sunset every night with a cold drink. Communication was quick, responsive and friendly, and they were extremely flexible with both check-in and check-out. To drive to the villa involves pootling around lots of small roads through quaint villages, and so a small car is definitely recommended! This means though that it's a very quiet area, mostly surrounded by other villas. There are some tavernas and shops close-by. Michalis recommended the local beach (Koutalas) and I would also recommend it for snorkeling! Thank you Leo and Michalis for a wonderful stay!

it's a little challenging to find. But Leo drove to us and led us to the place. It is as described, but you can't really walk to the beach. It's a short drive. We enjoyed the pool. The town is cute with lots of restaurants. it's a great option, as long as you have a car.

Een fantastische vakantie gehad in dit geweldige appartement, wat een prachtige, rustige plek . Een droom en een waar paradijs voor gezinnen . Je hebt wel een auto nodig. Geen minpunten, alleen maar lof! Bijzonder vriendelijke eigenaren. 10 + !

We enjoyed our stay with a 7-month-old baby. The place is in a great location with an amazing view from the living room and one of the bedrooms. It’s a bit uphill if you are walking, but that’s the price you are paying for the nice views. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped (including a dishwasher and washing machine which is great if you travel with children). Michalis and Leo were very communicative and gave us great recommendations for food and places to see in the area. We also appreciate a cleaning of the whole apartment halfway through our stay which is like a hotel service. Highly recommended if you're staying in the area.

We had a lovely stay, it was perfect for trips into the mountain and also the coast. The pool made it a great place to relax if you don’t feel like venturing out. Would highly recommend and would definitely come again. Lovely helpful and thoughtful hosts!

Es war wundervoll, wir hatten einen unvergesslichen Urlaub! Das Haus ist geräumig, bietet für 4 Personen genügend Platz und ist mit allem ausgestattet was man im Urlaub so braucht, sogar eine Waschmaschine gibt es. Der Außenbereich lädt zum Verweilen ein, der Blick von der Terasse ist atemberaubend, der Pool ist groß und sauber gepflegt. Die Kommunikation mit Michalis und Leo klappt gut und ist total unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Wir waren im Oktober da . Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter es war noch sehr warm. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und wir wurden mit einer Flasche Wein und einem Obstteller begrüßt . Michalis hat ins sehr freundlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt. Wir haben trotz guter Vorbereitung auf den Urlaub und die Gegend nochmals tolle tips bekommen, die wirklich gut für uns waren. Die Kommunikation war einfach und man bekommt sofort eine Reaktion oder Rückinfo. Für uns war es ein super AirBNB Erlebnis. Gerne wieder😀

Wir waren sechs Tage dort. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Die Terrasse bietet einen überragenden Blick auf die Souda Bay.

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden! Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen! Pool war sehr sauber die Aussicht ist wunderbar. Wenn wir fragen hatten können wir jederzeit nachfragen und bekamen sehr schnell eine Antwort.

A charming house with lovely hand crafted touches. Decor was simple, rustic and timelesly attractive as well as comfortable. Stunning views to wake to every day and beautiful sunsets to enjoy over a drink from our terrace. The pool was welcoming for cooling off and spotlessly clean, with sunbeds and towels provided , allowing us to kerp our own beach towels separate. Friendly and helpful hosts were the Icing on the cake. Stairs down to the bathroom at night were well lit and manageable for us, although may be less so for those with reduced mobility.

Loved the welcome wine and fruit basket. Fruit lasted all week! Michalis always available and so very responsive.

Séjour d'un peu plus d'une semaine dans la villa de Michalis et Leonidas et un seul mot : superbe ! L'accueil est au rendez vous, nous avons rencontré Michalis et son épouse, charmants ! Nous avions une bouteille de vin, de l'eau et un panier garni de fruits en arrivant ! Ils nous ont donné leurs bonnes adresses également. La villa est fidèle aux photos. L'environnement est super calme ! La piscine est top. Bref, allez y les yeux fermés !

Michalis and Leonardo communicated very well and the villa was lovely and clean. We arrived and were greeted by Leonardo. There was a bottle of wine, water and a bowl of fresh fruit which was left for us which we were extremely grateful as had an early start. My only reservation was that it was on a very steep hill, and although myself and my friends could manage it, we all said it would be very difficult for an elderly or less active couple to be able to walk around easily. However, there are local taxis which are nearby if people find the hills difficult. I though would definitely go back! Thank you

Perfect for our vacation

Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Elena, Michalis Ehefrau, freundlich empfangen. Sie zeigte uns das Appartement und beantwortete unsere Fragen. Der Komplex besteht aus vier Wohneinheiten, zwei auf jeder Seite eines wunderbaren Baumes, der die Einheiten trennt. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, inklusive des Pools mit Garten und Liegemöglichkeiten. Von der Terrasse hat man einen sehr weitläufigen Blick auf die Umgebung und das Meer. Das Appartement war mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchte. Als der Fernseher nicht funktionierte, wurde sofort Abhilfe geleistet. Michalis versorgte uns mit Tipps für die Umgebung (Strände, Restaurants, etc) Die einzig kleinen Kritikpunkte sind, dass die Wände sehr hellhörig sind und zwischen den Appartements ein Sichtschutz wünschenswert wäre. Wir haben sehr schöne 5 Tage hier verbracht und haben vor allem den Pool gerne und zu jeder Zeit genutzt Wir empfehlen das Appartement gerne weiter.

Possibly the best AirBNB I have ever stayed in. Beautiful view. Great pool. Good for cooking and entertaining. Walkable to a charming village with shops and friendly restaurants. And helpful, charming host.

My family of 6 adults were warmly greeted by Michalis when we arrived at the villa for our week in the sun and he made us feel right at home from the outset. The villa is simply “stunning” with “amazing” views and was only completed in April this year, so is effectively brand new! To be honest the villa exceeded all our expectations which is saying something, as I am very hard to please and have very high standards, so I can guarantee you will not be disappointed with the villa or the hosts. Leonidas kept the pool clean which was welcomed and by coming early he ensured he did not encroach on our holiday. The villa was also cleaned mid week which was efficient and well communicated, so there were no surprises. Michalis also kindly arranged our car hire with a local firm who met us at the airport and the handover and return was seamless and very friendly. On behalf of my family and I we want to say a huge thank you to our hosts and wish them every success in the future.

Magnifique endroit avec une vue exceptionnelle ! L’appartement est calme, confortable et bien équipé. Michalis, sa femme et Leonidas sont des hôtes accueillants. Nous avons particulièrement été touchés par l’attention et l’aide qui nous ont été données lorsque nous avons eu des soucis le dernier jour.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Michalis. L’appartement était très propre avec une très belle vue sur la mer. La situation du logement permet d’avoir accès rapidement à la mer et au port. Nous avons eu une belle corbeille de fruits ainsi qu’une bouteille de vin offerte à notre arrivée ce qui fut très agréable. Michalis est tres réactif également et a répondu rapidement à nos messages. Nous conseillons ce logement sur Almyrida.

Sehr schöne kleine Anlage aus 6 Häusern. Da nur zwei belegt waren hatten wir den schönen (chlorfreien!) Pool und die Schattenplätze immer für uns. Strand und Uferpromenade ist über Treppen schnell erreicht. Im Ort gibt es gute Restaurants unmittelbar an der Wasserfront. Die Aussicht von Balkon und Terrasse auf die Bucht von Souda ist umwerfend schön. Für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen gute Lage, etwas weite Anfahrt zur Schnellstraße.
